Yesterday i finished the work on the new EFHW antenna. There was jsut little work left from Monday, so i had plenty of time yesterday to test the Antenna out

The manufacturer stated, that for the 160m band, fine tuning is required, tho after a first test, i found out the antenna is tuned perfectly out of the box to 1840KHz

I tried every band from 160-6m, (except 60m) and the results where very suprising.

The SWR was below 1,5 on all of them, most bands where even below 1,2.

I also had the first 80m QSO from my QTH since my days as a Traineee using DN4XT!
