I went to Warsaw over the weekend a few days ago, and this is the results of that weekened.

First, i arrived at the airport in Hamburg and found out, that the holydays just started, which made it difficult to get a seat on stanby. tho after a long wait, i actually got assigned a seat. tho it was in economy class insted of the business class seat i was hoping for.

the flight was still very nice and we arrived in warsaw 30 mins late.

After collecting my luggage, i went for the metro and arrived at my AirBNB around an hour later.

The next morning, i assembled the antennas and built the station, aorund 6am UTC i had the first QSO

I also got some food at the local store, and it as very delicious.

In the afternoon, the UBA contest started, and i entered in the 20M LP category.

SP/DL4XT ended up with 1024 and it can be considered a good achievement.

Warsaw has a lot of green areas and park, that are all very clean and nice to walk trough.

At the end of the day, i decided to rebook my flight back due to the LOT flight being full, so i ended up on Lufthansa from Warsaw to Munich and then from Munich to Hamburg.

Overall, SP/DL4XT made 148 QSOs, which are mostly on the 20m band. I really liked the short stay there and strongly reccomend Warsaw as Short trip.

on sunday, i packed everything up and made myself on the way to the airport and made a small stop in the city centre

Baggage submission was without any problems and security was a breeze.

eventually, the Lufthansa A319 that would bring me to munich Rolled up to the Gate.

I got assinged the seat 3F in Buisness class and had the whole row to myself.

the cabin crew was lovely and the food was very good.

In munich, i got on the A320 to Hamburg, which was in Business class as well, though there was no full meal service due to the lenght of the flight.
